$7.5 BILLION

That’s how much was spent on DEI initiatives in 2020 according to McKinsey. They predict that this will double to over $15 billion by 2026.

150 YEARS

That’s how long it will take to close the economic gender gap at the current rate of spending and improvement.

50 YEARS

Five decades after the passage of the original Sex Discrimination Act in the UK, we have hit a diversity glass ceiling™.

beyond the diversity glass ceiling™

Imagine a world in which women have their fair share of power, success and opportunity and all companies have moved beyond the diversity glass ceiling™ to achieve true gender balance & inclusion.

We will only create that world when men get on board and work alongside their female friends, colleagues and partners to do so.

This is the world that I dream of, the world I passionately believe is possible and the world I fight for every day.

If you are a DEI leader in a male-dominated industry looking to move beyond performative diversity policies…

If you are a CEO, Founder, Director or Manager wondering how you can retain your female talent and improve gender balance in your business…

If you are a senior woman keen to experience greater confidence & to be widely respected as a leader…

LET’S SHATTER THE DIVERSITY GLASS CEILING™ TOGETHER

I offer a range of services from one-off workshops designed to start a different kind of conversation about DEI, to a series of workshops, programs and consultancy that help companies break through the diversity glass ceiling™.

I also run in-house confidence & leadership programs for senior and “rising star” women, and take on a handful of 1:1 coaching clients for bespoke support.

  • INSPIRING KEY NOTE SPEECHES & TALKS

“Harriet was one of our speakers at WeAreFutureLeaders, a conference that supports the next generation of female talent. Harriet’s talk was exceptionally well received by all our guests, the feedback was nothing short of amazing. Harriet has this wonderful ability that allows people to show their vulnerabilities and in turn be their most authentic selves. She is a wonderfully inspiring speaker who I have no hesitation in recommending. A real superwoman who empowers others wherever she goes.”

VANESSA VALLELY, OBE: Managing Director, WeAreTheCity

  • TRANSFORMATIONAL WORKSHOPS

“Thank you, Harriet, for joining our women’s network and providing something truly different. The conversation challenged us, made us question the status quo and drove us to think about how to work together to drive a different outcome. It was refreshing to have such an open and candid discussion. The post event survey gave your event a 4.88 out of 5 overall rating, with many women committing to raise their voices and increase their self-confidence. The overwhelming ask was for more!”

  • BESPOKE TRAINING & CONSULTING

“Harriet has been a big part of Rise - a group for gender diversity in media technology - mentoring programme. Delivering her powerful sessions has helped empower and inspire over 50 women so far in the programme. Her sessions are full of wit and compassion offering essential life skill toolkits that each participator can use to their own accord. The focused and carefully crafted sessions for these mid career women has left them with the drive and confidence to do push forward and owning their brilliance in both professional and personal life.“

  • PRIVATE 121 & SMALL GROUP COACHING

“When I started with Harriet, I felt like a massive imposter in my new job, with lots of self-doubt, my inner critic in charge a lot of the time, and self-sabotage.. This program has completely tackled all of that, giving me tons of confidence and happiness, as well as helping me to prioritise my energy, health and wellbeing. I’m absolutely owning my leadership position now and truly believe I’m shithot at what I do - I deserve to be here doing this job! My colleagues recognise the value I bring and respect me, and I respect myself.”

What would you like to talk about?

If you want to shatter the diversity glass ceiling™, I want to help you and I’ll create bespoke, tailored content to do that. But to give you a starting point, here’s an indicative list of subjects I cover in keynotes, talks, workshops and training.

  • Difficult Conversations: a great way to start a series of diversity workshops - helps to set the scene and equip the audience with important skills ahead of moving directly into the diversity topic.

  • Shattering the diversity glass ceiling: a roadmap to overcome pushback and barriers, to achieve the next level of diversity & inclusion.

  • Why should we care about gender balance? Dissolve zero sum game thinking and get men truly on board with wanting and working towards gender balance.

  • From Imposter to Invincible: breaking down myths around imposter phenomenon, including why imposter syndrome is a DEI issue not a mindset issue. Confidence and mindset hacks that quickly bring self-respect and the full respect of others, elevating your profile and effectiveness.

  • Breaking down gender stereotypes: uplevel allyship and success through understanding how gender stereotypes hold all of us back.

  • Women & the Self-Worth Crisis - A Call to Action: understand the systemic and cultural reasons why women don’t feel good enough, so that efforts to support women’s confidence and success can be directed effectively.

  • Be an Ally. Be a Leader: A deep dive into inclusive leadership, laying out the most desirable leadership traits of the future, helping (white) men to see that their career need not be restrained by their demographic so that it is safe for them to collaborate on diversity.

  • We Need to Talk About Sex: a thought-provoking keynote or workshop covering an essential aspect of allyship that is often ignored in the corporate space: harassment, porn, sexualisation and victim-blaming.
